Heads up! These docs are for Portofino 3, which is a legacy product. Check out Portofino 4!

June 4th, 2009

New features:

- Tabular results (e.g., search results) can be sorted ascending/descending by any column.
- Read pages can move to the first/last/previous/next result within a result set or return to the originating search page.

Improvements and fixes:

- A class with a workflow and group actor permissions would show certain search results as rows of all <n.d.> instead of hiding the rows altogether. Fixed.
- Width of text/textarea inputs is now reduced to avoid overflow w/ Firefox 3 on Linux.
- Search queries are now submitted as POST's instead of GET's to avoid url overflows w/ Internet Explorer.
- ReadMDObjectVisitor.doRelationship() created url's with unnecessary locale formatting (thousands separators for large id's). Fixed.
- Upgrade of JasperReports library from 2.0.5 to 3.5.0.

Upgrade from previous versions:

Important notice: always back up you database and files before upgrading.
Version 2.0.16 uses the same database schema as version 2.0.12, so no database migration script is necessary. A simple WAR replacement is sufficient. Notice that if you have any configuration files, customized java classes or other resources, you must back them up and restore them after the upgrade.
